Coached primarily by Wayne Bennett, Brisbane had internationals such as Wally Lewis, Gene Miles and Greg Dowling in their early years. They have since nurtured internationals such as Steve Renouf, Michael Hancock, Willie Carne, Kerrod Walters, Shane Webcke, Darius Boyd, Allan Langer, and many others.
