RUGBY CHAMPIONS - ROUND FIVE PREVIEW

September 26, 2018

Round five of the rugby championships is on this weekend, with South Africa the only threat left to New Zealand securing victory in the tournament of four nations.  Australia will be desperately hoping for an unlikely win to avoid finishing in fourth place, behind Argentina.

Australia travel to Port Elizabeth to play South Africa.  The Wallabies have had just one win in the tournament, but it was against South Africa in Brisbane.  That was an ugly victory, helped by penalty goals; and Australia will have to grind again if they want to come away with another win.

New Zealand venture to Buenos Aires to take on Argentina, keen to shake off a shock loss to South Africa at their last start.  The Kiwis beat Argentina 46-24 in Nelson earlier in the tournament, and another win here will see them move one step closer to securing the trophy.
