NFL – WEEK ELEVEN

The Houston Texans returned from their bye week to sneak home 23-21 against the Washington Redskins.  Houston led 10-0 at the first break, and hung to beat a fast finishing Redskins.

New Orleans stamped their claim as a genuine contender for the Super Bowl with a 48-7 thumping of reigning champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Saints crossed for six touchdowns, with four being set up by Drew Brees.  Mark Ingram crossed for a double.

In the battle of the heavyweights, the Los Angeles Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs both turned on an attacking display which had the fans on the edge of their seats.  The Rams eventually ran out winners 54-51; the first time both teams had scored fifty points in a game.  Patrick Mahones set up six touchdowns for the Chiefs, including doubles to Tyreek Hill and Chris Conley.  Gerald Everett scored two touchdowns for the Rams.
