NFL – WEEK EIGHT

October 30, 2018

The Los Angeles Rams continued their unbeaten streak, although they didn’t have things all their own way in a tight 29-27 win over the Green Bay Packers.  Down 10-8 at halftime, the Rams had to hold off the Packers in a tight final quarter.  Josh Reynolds scored two touchdowns for the winners.

The Kansas City Chiefs made it 7-1 for the season with a 30-23 victory over the Denver Broncos.  It is the seventh win in a row for the Chiefs in games against Denver, and moves them further ahead at the top of AFC West, as the Los Angeles Chargers had a bye round.

The New England Patriots remain on top in AFC East, following a comprehensive 25-6 win over the Buffalo Bills.  The Patriots have more breathing space at the top after Miami went down for the second week in a row.  The Dolphins were beaten 42-23 by the Houston Texans, who stay on top of AFC South.

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Minnesota Vikings 30-20 in the match of the round, while the Washington Redskins remain on top of NFC East after a 20-13 win over the struggling New York Giants.
