AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES UPDATE

The Boston Red Sox have taken a 2-1 lead over the Houston Astros in the American League Championship Series.  The Astros won game one, 7-2.    Alex Bregman scored two runs, while Yuli Gurriel was the star, assisting in three runs being scored.  Steve Pearce and Jackie Bradley both scored home runs for Boston off the pitching of Brandon Workman.

In game two, Boston levelled the series with a 7-5 victory.  Rafael Devers and Mookie Betts each scored two runs in the win, while Jackie Bradley had 3 RBIs.  Boston went to the lead in the series with an 8-2 thumping in game three.  Steve Pearce again led the way with two runs, while Nathan Eovaldi was the pick of their pitchers.
